FLY STITCH
As we all know there are many types of Embroidery Stitches which are being used in Fashion Designing to make the design through stitches, Below is the brief explanation of one of the mostly used stitch that is Fly Stitch in Fashion Designing. The stitch holding the ‘v’ shape can be made longer. The stitch can be used single, or in rows to make patterns. It is also used to hold down strips of fabric and baids.
Insert needle from backside of fabric.
Bring it to front.
Make a loop of thread.
Insert needle from right keeping 1 inch gap reaching back.
From back bring needle to front from middle, keeping .5 gap above both points on right and left.
Passing needle from inside of loop cover the thread and tuck it by overlapping.
